Pizzicato 2019 – DO. Penedes

This is a super interesting ew wine, a slightly sparkling varietal rosé made from the variety Muscat Hamburg, a red grape of German origin derived from crossing the varieties Muscat of Alexandria and Trollinger (cultivated in the Italian region of South Tyrol). On this occasion, we were inspired by classical music to give it a name. They have chosen the musical term PIZZICATO applied to the technique of playing a string instrument (such as the violin, viola, cello and bass) by plucking the strings with the fingertips. This wine is specifically designed for devotees of wine of youthful soul and spirit, as a fun and relaxing option to have with an appetizer, or for between meals. Very good also as accompaniment to starters, pasta or pizza.
